Catholic Charities Addiction Counseling and Education Services (ACES) is a DASA licensed provider of Level 1 (outpatient) and 2.1 (intensive outpatient) substance abuse treatment for adults and adolescents (ages 12 and up). Services available in Marquette Park at 2601 W. Marquette near 67th and Western across from Holy Cross Hospital and at 721 N. LaSalle. Catholic Charities Addiction Counseling and Education Services (ACES) can accept clients without insurance. Alcohol and Drug Evaluation Services (ADES) Located within the Cook County Court Districts, this program evaluates driving under the influence (DUI) offenders referred by the Cook County Court, the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office as well as out-of-county/state jurisdictions. LSSI provides a range of treatment options to help individuals with alcohol and/or drug disorders. Our services include medically-assisted detox, some residential rehabilitation, sober living facilities, and outpatient treatment. LSSI's treatment services are licensed by the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (DASA). LSSI works in financial partnership with the federal government, the state of Illinois, and townships to offer services to persons who are economically disadvantaged. Funding is available for all whose incomes meet DASA eligibility requirements, which are based on the federal poverty guidelines. In partnership with Rock Island/Milan School District #41 High School, a Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist travels to all schools to address the needs of youth at risk of using alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. The Substance Abuse Prevention Program provides information dissemination, crisis prevention, and intervention support to clients and determines problem identification to make appropriate referral for serious family and personal issues. In addition, the program offers presentations in the areas of substance abuse and violence prevention, Latino Dropout Prevention, promoting health and personal development, working with “at-risk” and disadvantaged children and adolescents, and Essentials of Asset Building.

The Life Recovery Program is a residential program offering comprehensive help and hope for men, women and children in desperate circumstances, such as chemical dependency, domestic violence issues, or destructive relationships. Our curriculum offers Bible classes, recovery and relapse prevention training, general life skills application, mentoring, physical fitness, art therapy and cultural recreation. Our goal is to enable men and women to establish healthy relationships and to develop Godly choices that will benefit their lives and those around them. This long-term program (9-12 months) provides the support necessary for recovery, restoration, and empowerment to sustain a healthy and whole outlook for the future. Child care assistance is available for women with children.
